Anjana Om Kashyap is an Indian journalist and anchor who was born on 12 June 1975 in Ranchi, India. She did her schooling at Loreto Convent School and Delhi Public School in Ranchi. She was designated with the post of head girl in both the schools. Later, she pursued Honours in botany, from the University of Delhi and became the president of her college hostel. She also appeared for the All India Pre Medical Test but was unable to pass. For her post-graduation, she enrolled herself at the Delhi School of Social Work but a few years later she opted for a diploma in the field of journalism from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi.

Anjana started her career as a counsellor at Daewoo Motors but resigned after a year and joined an NGO as a legal counsellor for slum-dwellers. After completion of her course, she worked for Doordarshan where she was assigned to the news-desk of Aankhon Dekhi but was allotted infrequent reporting duties, as well. Presently, she is an executive editor of the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak.

Anjana is married to Mangesh Kashyap and is blessed with a son and a daughter.
