Yuzvendra Chahal is an Indian cricketer who was born on 23 July 1990 in Jind, Haryana. He is a former chess player and represented India internationally in chess at youth levels. He is a leg-break bowler and represents India in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He plays for Haryana in Indian domestic cricket and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chahal is the second player and first Indian to take a 6 wicket haul in T20I history. [1] He is the first concussion substitute to be named man of the match in an international cricket match.

Chahal got married to Dhanashree Verma, a choreographer, YouTuber, and dentist on 22 December 2020 in Gurgaon in a private ceremony.

Chahal owns a house in Jind, Haryana. He spent his childhood here. His father had once revealed that he had prepared a pitch for his son on agricultural land near their home, after discovering that Chahal was not interested in studies.

Yuzvendra Chahal lives at a fancy property in Delhi with his family. He spent a good amount of money on this property which made his father worried about the cost of wood in his new house. His place has the most adorning wooden furnishings and antiques. In an interview, he said “I tell him, rehne do, it’s one big house we are building, let’s put in as much good quality elements as possible papa! Don’t worry about the expense.”[4]
